Its calming scent is a custom blend of essential oils, featuring notes of lavender and a hint of citrus—a tribute to cherished memories and loved ones. A touch of cocoa powder and a blend of natural botanicals add elegance and texture, creating a bar that is as beautiful as it is functional.

Each bar is carefully poured, with some batches showcasing a subtle cocoa line or a dusting of flower petals, and all offering the same gentle performance and artisan quality.

Why It’s Called Ootsu:
This soap is named in honor of the teacher from a one-room schoolhouse my mother often spoke about—Ms. Ootsu—and is dedicated to both her and my mother. Lavender was one of my mother’s favorite scents, and her love of lemon meringue pie inspired the citrus note in the blend. Though my mom is no longer here, her stories and spirit live on in this bar. This is more than just a soap—it’s a heartfelt tribute.
